Nagpur, Dec 7: The district administration has submitted a proposal for Rs 100 crore from the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) for corona prevention measures in Nagpur metropolitan and rural areas. As per the information given by District Collector Ravindra Thackeray this evening, under the guidance of the Guardian Minister Dr. Nitin Raut, the district administration has made an additional demand of Rs. 100 crore from 'SDRF' to face the coming crisis. The funds have been earmarked for procurement of medicines, oxygen, procurement of machinery and medical measures. Meanwhile, the district administration has also demanded social responsibility funds from various industrial organizations in the district. So far, Rs 11.88 crore has been received from Western Coalfield Limited alone. The district administration is expecting a large amount of help from social and industrial organizations. A four-member committee has been set up to ensure that corona patients need a large supply of oxygen, which is controlled and balanced. Oxygen will be distributed under their guidance and observation.

The first response to the Guardian Minister's suggestion to set up an oxygen plant in a rural hospital in the district has been received in Narkhed and Kuhi talukas and the construction of an oxygen plant at these places has been started. Remedesivir injection
