IMA Takes a Firm Stand on NEET Scam; No Support for Guilty Medical Professionals

Beed/Mumbai: The NEET paper leak scandal has once again sent shockwaves through the medical fraternity. The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Maharashtra State Branch, has announced a firm decision: it will under no circumstances shield or support any doctors found guilty in this case.
A statement issued under the signatures of State IMA President Dr. Santosh Kulkarni, State Secretary Dr. Vikrant Desai, and State Treasurer Dr. Amol Gitte asserts that the IMA will never condone any malpractice that trifles with the future of students and the reputation of the medical profession.
IMA's Key Stance:
Strong condemnation of unethical acts such as the NEET paper leak
Decision to withhold any form of support from guilty doctors
Welcome of the action initiated by the CBI
Demand for an impartial and thorough investigation
The IMA has made it clear that strict legal action must be taken against any acts that inflict injustice upon deserving and hardworking students. Upholding the credibility of medical entrance examinations is a matter of paramount importance for the country's healthcare system.
In this statement, the association has also expressed its readiness to extend full cooperation to the CBI.
