Instructing to launch a special drive to eradicate dengue mosquito breeding grounds with the help of Municipal Corporation and Nagpur Improvement Pranyas, the Divisional Commissioner said that every ongoing construction in urban as well as rural areas as well as vacant plots should be inspected. Spray this place with mosquito repellent and abate solution. If water is stored permanently, care should be taken not to breed guppy fish there.
The city found 177 patients in the last 15 days. Most of the patients are in Dharampeth and Sataranjipura zones. Outbreak control as well as biological control is important in dengue prevention measures. The priority is to destroy mosquitoes and eggs, and a dry day should be observed to eliminate stagnant water in the house.
