Launch of 'Computer Education Bus' for Municipal Students

Nagpur, Dec 3: The availability of computers was a stumbling block in the way of modern education for the students studying in the municipal schools. The dream of the poor, needy students coming to the Corporation's school to learn modern technology is about to come true. CSR by Alchem ??Company A bus was donated to Nagpur Municipal Corporation with the help of Nidhi and Sahyadri Foundation. It facilitates computer education. The bus was inaugurated by Deepak Kumar Meena, Additional Commissioner, Corporation, Iyer Srinivasan, Managing Director, LKM Company and Preeti Mishrikotkar, Education Officer, Corporation.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Corporation's Hindi Upper Primary School at Makardhokada.
The state-of-the-art bus handed over to Sahyadri Foundation by LKM Company has 18 seats and is equipped with laptop projector, AC and first aid kit. Approximately 8000 students from class V to IX will get computer education as well as course education. Computer education will strengthen the wings of the Corporation's students in terms of technological ideas and inventions.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Commissioner Deepak Kumar Meena said that the students studying in Nagpur Municipal Corporation schools are mainly poor and needy and it is difficult for them to get computer education due to various reasons. The computer bus, an initiative of Alchem ??Company, will play an important role in bridging this gap in modern education. Through this system, students will be able to move to a new world through computer education and they will be able to reach the pinnacle of success by proving their existence in the competition, he said. During Corona's time, students were able to complete their education through online learning. This computer education bus will also help the students to complete their education and make them interested in it. He also said that this will increase the number of students in the Corporation's schools and will create interest in education among the drop out students and bring them back to the stream of education.
Dushyant Pathak of the company, while introducing the project, said that the aim of the project is to convert school children towards computer education. The bus will travel to various schools and will try to impart computer education to them. Attempts will also be made to bring dropout students into the stream of education. For this, efforts will be made to convince the parents of these students, he added.
