Malegaon bomb blast verdict likely to be announced tomorrow, what has happened so far? Read the full case

:- A bomb blast took place in Malegaon's Bhikku Chowk on September 29, 2008. The verdict in this case is likely to be announced tomorrow in a special court in Mumbai. The NIA has demanded the court to give death penalty to seven people including the suspected accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur. Therefore, everyone's attention is on what verdict the court will give.
In the bomb blast in Malegaon's Bhikku Chowk, 6 innocent Muslim citizens were killed and more than 100 people were injured. The entire Maharashtra was shaken by this bomb blast. The police had registered a case against them as the motorcycle found at the scene belonged to Hindutva leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.
It was reported that Sadhvi Pragya Singh, along with Colonel Prasad Purohit, Major Ramesh Upadhyay, Swami Dayanand Pandey, Ajay Raikar, Sameer Kulkarni, Satish Chaturvedi, were behind this. The bomb blast was planned as part of Hindutva ideology and it is alleged that it was also implemented.
After the Malegaon police registered this case, the investigation was initially transferred to the ATS and later to the NIA. The hearing of this case has been going on in the NIA Special Court in Mumbai for 17 years. The NIA has also granted bail to Sadhvi Pragya Singh. A few days ago, the NIA had demanded the death penalty for seven of the suspected accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh. Now, the verdict of this case is likely to be announced tomorrow. The entire country, including Malegaon, is paying attention to this verdict.
Liaquat Sheikh lost his 10-year-old daughter in the bomb blast that shook Malegaon city. The girl had gone to Bhikkhu Chowk to get Vada Pav, but she did not return. When he heard about the bomb blast, Liaquat Sheikh was hopeful that his daughter would return home. However, soon after, another message came that his daughter Farheen had died in the blast. As a father, he went to see his daughter with his wife, but they were not allowed to see her. Currently, Liaquat Sheikh has a small, cute photo of the little girl. Liaquat hopes that she will get justice.
