Mumbai 26/11 attack mastermind Tahawwur Rana brought to India

Mumbai: Tahawwur Rana, the mastermind of the November 26, 2008 terror attack in Mumbai, has finally been brought to India. 166 people were killed and many injured in the attack. Tahawwur Rana was in custody in Canada and a legal battle was going on for the past several years to hand him over to India.
Rana is accused of having links with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. It is claimed that he provided financial and logistical support for the attack. He was also on trial in the US, but India had sought his extradition. Now he will be tried in India, and the relatives of the victims are hopeful of getting justice in this case.
