Sonam Raghuvanshi, who was accused of conspiring to kill her husband Raja Raghuvanshi with her lover Raj Kushwaha during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, has completed a month in jail. According to sources received by NDTV, even though Sonam Raghuvanshi has completed a month in jail, her brother, father, mother or any other relative has not come to meet her. Despite this, Sonam has no regrets about it. It is being said that she does not even remember her family members. Notably, she does not have any regrets about the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi and does not talk about it to anyone in jail.

According to sources, Sonam is kept with other female prisoners in the jail and has blended in well with them. She has not expressed any remorse for her crime. For the past one month, she has not expressed remorse to the jail administration or any inmate. She does not talk to other female prisoners or the jail administration about her case or personal life.
Sonam has adapted herself well in the jail environment. Life in the jail is becoming easy for her and she is living like other prisoners without asking for any special treatment. Currently, she has not been given any specific work in the jail, as she is still an undertrial prisoner. Sonam wakes up on time every morning like other female prisoners and follows the jail rules.

Sonam is the second female prisoner in this jail in a murder case. A female prisoner has already been convicted in a murder case. There are a total of 496 prisoners in the jail, out of which only 19 are women. Sonam has now become the 20th female prisoner. She has been kept in a cell near the jail warden's office. She is accompanied by two senior female prisoners. Sonam is being closely monitored by CCTV cameras 24 hours a day.
Sonam's family members avoid meeting her
Sonam has the facility to watch TV. Also, as per the jail rules, she is allowed to meet her family members and talk to them on the phone, but so far no one has come to meet her or contacted her on the phone. She will be taught sewing and other skills-related tasks in the jail along with other female prisoners.
