Letter from Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrashekharan
Dear colleagues,
This is a very difficult moment. What happened yesterday is beyond comprehension and we are all in shock and grief. Losing one person is also a tragedy, but the death of so many people at once is unbelievable. This is the darkest day in the history of the Tata Group.
Words of comfort are not enough at this moment, but my thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their loved ones or were injured in this accident. We stand with them.
I would like to say that, like you, we also want to understand how the plane crash happened. We don't know yet, but we will find out. As you know, in the last 24 hours, investigation teams from India, the UK and the US have reached Ahmedabad.
