
Vikas Kharge takes charge as Additional Chief Secretary --'Paperless work for dynamic and transparent work'
Mumbai, Date 31: Additional Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister's Office Vikas Kharge took charge as Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule welcomed him. Senior officials of the Revenue Department were present on this occasion.
Mr. Kharge was earlier holding the charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary of the Cultural Affairs Department. Before that, he has worked in important positions in various departments of the state government. After taking charge of the Revenue Department, Revenue Minister Shri. Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Additional Chief Secretary Vikas Kharge took a detailed review of the work of the department as well as the planning of further work.
If changes are to be made in the laws for the welfare of the last section of the society, it will definitely be made. Any deliberate malpractice will not be accepted, said Minister Shri. Bawankule. Stating that everyone should take care that the pending cases in the Revenue Department are settled in a time-bound manner and no work remains pending, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Kharge clarified that the work of the department will henceforth be conducted entirely through e-office. He assured that the work of the department will continue in a dynamic, transparent and people-oriented manner by using modern technology.
