“Modi has turned Bhagwat into a slave”: Prakash Ambedkar’s scathing attack from Nagpur
Nagpur: Adv. Prakash Ambedkar, leader of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat during a press conference held at Ravibhavan in Nagpur on Thursday. He claimed that Prime Minister Modi has completely reduced Mohan Bhagwat to a state of servitude.
Ambedkar said, “Writer Madhukeshwar and senior leader Subramanian Swamy publicly raised doubts regarding Prime Minister Modi’s character. Mohan Bhagwat did not seek any clarification on this matter. Therefore, I conclude that Modi has turned Bhagwat into a slave.”
Allegation of political servitude
Prakash Ambedkar stated that most political leaders and parties in the country have become subservient today. Citing the example of the Legislative Council elections, he said, “Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi candidates fought until the very end, whereas Congress candidates withdrew midway. This reflects a state of political servitude.”
Criticism of economic and foreign policies
Ambedkar also lashed out at Prime Minister Modi’s economic policies. He said, “Global leaders are exploiting the country by taking advantage of Modi’s weaknesses. Agricultural markets, originally reserved for farmers, are set to be opened up to the world due to agreements with the US. The country’s economic standing is declining, and we have begun moving towards economic servitude.”
Serious allegations against the Sangh and BJP
Accusing the RSS and BJP of lacking patriotism, Ambedkar said, “They only care about religion and the power derived from it. Despite being in power for 12 years, they have no program to make the country economically self-reliant. Their work has been reduced to merely adopting an anti-Muslim stance and celebrating festivals.”
Comments on Iran and secularism
He further added, “The government is ignoring the potential for good relations with Iran and the supply of crude oil on credit. The country’s agenda has become entirely religious. Religion does not fill stomachs.” Concern regarding Abhijit Deepke's agitation
Ambedkar expressed concern regarding the agitation led by Abhijit Deepke’s ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. He remarked, “Despite garnering millions of followers on social media, the agitation failed due to the issue of caste. If the younger generation prioritizes caste, the BJP stands to benefit.”
