Chief Minister Fadnavis stated, “All issues concerning the Maratha community have been resolved; we are the ones who took the decisions regarding reservation.”
Mumbai/Raigad: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has clarified that all issues raised by the Maratha community and matters regarding reservation have been resolved. He stated that whatever has been granted to the Maratha community was provided by this government, and all decisions taken to date were also made by this government. Any future decisions required will also be taken by this government.
Speaking to journalists in Raigad, Chief Minister Fadnavis said, “Decisions were not merely taken on paper; the Maratha community has visibly benefited from them. We are unanimous in our view: whatever is mandated by the Constitution will certainly be granted, and whatever is subject to court rulings will be delivered 100 percent. We do not believe in taking from one person's plate to fill another's. Whether it is the Maratha community or any other, justice has been delivered to all, and we are the ones who will ensure justice for the Maratha community.”
He further stated that the government has never closed the doors to dialogue. Solutions are found through discussion, and action is proceeding in that direction. All the issues that were raised have been resolved. If any doubts or gaps still exist, they should be raised, and they will be addressed.
Earlier, Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Chairman of the Maratha Reservation Sub-committee, had stated that a government delegation would not be visiting Manoj Jarange Patil. Responding to this, Chief Minister Fadnavis reiterated the aforementioned stance.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the government has taken all necessary decisions and has maintained a firm stance regarding the interests of the Maratha community.
