Delhi Shaken! Accused Makes Shocking Confession in Murder Case of IRS Officer's Daughter
New Delhi: The entire nation has been shaken by the murder of a 22-year-old daughter of an IRS officer in the Kailash Hills area of ??South Delhi. Rahul Meena, the accused in this case, made a highly shocking statement while confessing to the crime during police interrogation. Reports have emerged stating that he remarked, "If 'Didi' (the victim) had given me the money, this would not have happened."
According to the information received, the accused had previously worked as a domestic help for the family. He possessed complete knowledge of the household's security systems, passcodes, and keys. Driven by financial difficulties and mounting debts, he entered the house with the sole intention of committing theft.
On the morning of the incident, the accused entered the house after the victim's parents had left. At that time, the young woman was studying on the upper floor. The accused demanded money from her; however, when she refused, he attacked her. It is alleged that after rendering her unconscious, he sexually assaulted her and subsequently strangled her to death.
Following the murder, the accused attempted to open the household locker but was unsuccessful. Ultimately, using a screwdriver to pry open the locker, he stole cash and jewelry before fleeing the scene. The investigation also revealed that he changed his clothes in an attempt to conceal evidence.
A further shocking revelation emerging from the police investigation is the allegation that, prior to arriving in Delhi, the accused had sexually assaulted a woman in Alwar, Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police formed special teams to track down the accused and subsequently arrested him at a hotel in Dwarka. The court has currently remanded the accused to police custody, and further investigations into the matter are underway.
