Nagpur, Date 5: While expanding Vidhan Bhavan, we are focusing on environmentally friendly and comprehensive planning. In this regard, Vidhan Bhavan Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar gave instructions to organize a meeting in Mumbai on June 25 regarding Vidhan Bhavan expansion.
A review was held under his chairmanship in Vidhan Bhavan here regarding the construction of the building under the expansion at Vidhan Bhavan Nagpur and land acquisition. This review meeting was attended by Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director of Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation, Janardan Bhanuse, Superintendent Engineer of Public Works Department, Chief Engineer Dinesh Nandanwar and the heads of the relevant implementing agencies.
Information on the proposed construction of the available space in addition to the heritage building of the legislature should be submitted while maintaining the heritage building. While constructing the proposed construction in the legislative assembly premises, emphasis should be placed on making it eco-friendly by planting sufficient trees. The roads should be wide and spacious. A meeting will be held in Mumbai on June 25 before the monsoon session in Mumbai. Assembly Speaker Mr. Narvekar instructed to present all the information in this meeting.
A museum has been set up in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He instructed to verify whether a museum can be set up in the Nagpur Legislative Assembly premises on the same lines. Along with this, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar instructed to present information about FSI and Archaeological Department permissions in the meeting.
Inspection of the Legislative Assembly premises
After the meeting, Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar inspected the Legislative Assembly premises including both the Houses of the Legislative Assembly, the Cabinet Rooms and gave necessary instructions to the concerned.
