An argument started between Randhir Savarkar and Nitin Deshmukh over the distribution of funds in Dalit settlements. The argument got so heated that both of them ran and shouted at each other. The officials present and the Guardian Minister intervened and brought the situation under control, otherwise there was a possibility that the argument would have turned into a fight.

BJP MLA Randhir Savarkar said, “During the meeting, some people were shooting, which the guardian minister asked to stop. Nitin Deshmukh objected to this, after which the argument escalated between us. But there was no abuse, only loud talking.”
On the other hand, Thackeray group MLA Nitin Deshmukh said, “We had a philosophical discussion. No abuse took place. An attempt is being made to suppress the voice of the opposition.”
