Falcon 2000 jets to be manufactured in Nagpur - Dassault Aviation signs deal with Reliance

Mumbai, June 18-During the air show held in Paris, Dassault Aviation and Reliance Aerospace Ltd. have signed a historic agreement for the manufacture of Falcon 2000 jets, the first such production outside France. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed happiness that this production will be done in Nagpur and has welcomed this agreement.
This production being done in Nagpur, MIHAN will give a big boost to India's aviation manufacturing sector and will also give a big boost to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make in India policy. This will be a very important step towards a self-reliant India. We have done many facilities for defense production in Nagpur. In that regard, this is a milestone agreement, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also said.
Falcon 2000 will now be completely manufactured in Nagpur for India and the global market. With this agreement, India has joined the ranks of countries like America, France, Canada and Brazil. Dassault Reliance Aerospace (DRAL) in Nagpur will be the center of excellence. The assembly of Falcon 8X and 6X will also take place there. With this, the first Made in India Falcon will be manufactured in Nagpur by 2028. This Dassault Reliance Aerospace (DRAL) was established in 2017. Now, the new production facility will provide employment to thousands of technicians and engineers in Nagpur. Dassault Aviation is the world's leading manufacturer of Falcon, including Rafale for the defense forces, and has so far manufactured over 10,000 military and civil aircraft. It is supplied to about 90 countries.
