Journalist from Konkan dies during treatment; Accident or Murder? Investigation begins

Konkan journalist Shashikant Shankar Warise's fight against death failed. A four-wheeler hit his two-wheeler at Kodavali in Rajapur taluka on Monday. Shashikant Warishe was seriously injured in this accident. He was being treated at the CPR hospital in Kolhapur. However, as his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to CT Hospital in Kolhapur. However, he died during treatment this morning. Meanwhile, police have arrested the accused car driver in this incident from Hatiwale and have started further investigation.
Shashikant Warise was originally from Rajapur Kasheli village. He is survived by his wife and a son. Meanwhile, Shashikant was coming out of a petrol pump at Kodavali on the Mumbai-Goa highway on Monday afternoon when an oncoming Mahindra Thar car hit his bike hard. In this accident, Shashikant suffered severe head injuries. He was immediately admitted to Rajapur Rural Hospital. He was then shifted to Ratnagiri District Hospital for further treatment. But as there was no improvement in Shishikant's condition, he was shifted to Kolhapur's CPR hospital. However, at eight o'clock in the night, Shashikant's health deteriorated and he was shifted to CT Hospital in Kolhapur. However, he died during treatment this morning.
Shashikant had opposed the Nanar project and advocated justice for the local farmers in the district. Due to this, Shashikant's relatives are alleging that there was no accident on the bike but it was an accident. In this matter, the police have detained the owner of the jeep, Pandharinath Amberkar, and a case has been registered against him under Section 308 of the Rajapur Police Station and further investigation has been started.
