A particularly shocking instance has come to light involving an agent from Vasmat in the Hingoli district (Marathwada region), who organized a registration camp in Malwadi, Atpadi Taluka, and registered over 100 individuals.
The agent collected ?300 from each person, instead of the official fee of ?199. During the camp, held on May 30th, the agent promised to return at a later date to distribute the cards. However, as there is now no guarantee that he will actually return, anxiety has gripped the affected villagers.
