Indian Railways:-Indian Railways is preparing to make a big change in the ticket registration system. Now the reservation list of the railway will be prepared eight hours before the departure of the train. Earlier, this list was prepared four hours before the departure of the train. The new rule will make it easier for the passengers. It will be known whether the passengers' ticket has been confirmed 8 hours before. If the ticket is not confirmed, they will have a period of 8 hours, during which they can find another option.

According to the new rule, the list of trains departing before 2 pm will be ready from 9 pm the previous day. So, the passengers on the waiting list will get information in time and they can find another option. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently reviewed this change and took a big decision.
Passenger Reservation System (PRS): Ticket booking capacity will be increased to 1.5 lakh tickets per minute (currently 32,000 tickets/minute). Enquiry capacity will be increased 10 times to 40 lakh tickets per minute.
New standard multilingual and user-friendly - which will also have facilities for seat selection and special categories (handicapped, students, patients).
Big change in booking of Tatkal tickets from July 1...
A big change will be made in Tatkal ticket booking from July 1, 2025. From July 1, only Tatkal tickets can be booked by authenticated users. OTP based authentication will be mandatory by the end of July 2025.
Authentication will be done through Aadhaar or other government ID (available in DigiLocker). In such a situation, private agents will face difficulties in booking tickets.
