There is a big news for Class 10th and 12th students in Maharashtra. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary has announced the time table for class 10th and 12th exams. According to this schedule, the 12th exam will be held from February 11 to March 18. The 10th exam will be held from February 21 to March 17. State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary has issued a press release in this regard.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (12th) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education through the nine divisional boards of Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan is held every year in the third week of February and in the secondary school year. Certificate (E.10th) exams are conducted in the first week of March. The online results of the said exams are announced at the end of May and first week of June respectively. After that July-August supplementary examination for failed as well as students admitted under upgradation is usually conducted from the third week of July.
Timely admission process of the students for the next academic year, since the entrance exams of the professional courses are conducted after the board exams, students should get enough time to study for such exams and the supplementary exams should be taken early and the result announced early, in February-March 2025. The Board intends to hold the Class 12th and Class 10th exams 8 to 10 days earlier than usual. Accordingly, written, practical and other examinations are scheduled to be conducted on the scheduled dates, the board said.
For the purpose of curriculum planning to schools / junior colleges and students and to reduce the stress on the minds of the students, the above scheduled dates of February-March 2025 practical and written examination are being announced. The detailed subject schedule of practical examination, category, oral, internal evaluation examination and written examination will be announced separately on the website of the board as and when required. If there are any suggestions or objections regarding the said dates, they should be sent to secretary.stateboard@gmail.com by Friday, 23.08.2024. The Board has appealed that suggestions received after this date will not be considered.
