Waris Pathan's Sharp Retort to Yogi Adityanath

"Our Hindu Brethren Worship on the Streets and Play Garba at Airports—Do We Say Anything?"
Mumbai : AIMIM leader Waris Pathan has expressed a strong reaction to the statement made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the issue of banning *Namaz* (prayers) on public streets.
Waris Pathan stated, "No one has a desire to offer *Namaz* on the streets in the scorching heat. It is out of compulsion—because there is insufficient space inside the mosques—that we are forced to offer *Namaz* on the streets. Why does it bother you so much when our Muslim brethren offer *Namaz* on the street for just 5 to 10 minutes? Our Hindu brethren perform *Puja* on the streets and play *Garba* at airports—but do we ever raise an objection?"
He further asserted that every individual has the right to practice their religion according to their own beliefs, and that India is a secular nation.
Raising the Issue of the Kanwar Yatra...
Waris Pathan remarked, "During the Kanwar Yatra, roads remain jammed for several days. At that time, no objections are raised against them; on the contrary, flowers are showered upon them. Yet, when it comes to Muslims, threats are issued. Modiji speaks of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (Support of all, Development for all), yet his own Chief Ministers make provocative statements on a daily basis."
The Country Will Be Governed by the Constitution
"If Muslim brethren are seen offering *Namaz* on the streets, what exactly will you do? Will you shoot them? Will you hang them? This country will be governed by the Constitution, by the law, and by the 'Law of the Land.' This country will not be run according to Yogi Adityanath's bullying tactics and threats. Yogi has proven to be a failure," Pathan alleged.
He concluded by asking, "Does it truly befit a Chief Minister to employ such language?" 'Hindutva Champion' Competition Among BJP Chief Ministers
Criticizing BJP Chief Ministers, Waris Pathan stated, "There is a competition underway among all the BJP Chief Ministers across the country to determine 'who is the greatest champion of Hindutva.' No matter what happens, our Muslim brethren are subjected to abuse. This is eroding the secular fabric of the nation. This is merely an attempt to divert the public's attention away from issues such as the NEET paper leak and the rising prices of petrol and diesel."
This reaction comes in response to Yogi Adityanath's stance regarding the banning of *Namaz* on public roads. Pathan emphasized the importance of adhering to the Constitution and the rule of law.
