Fadnavis Offers Relief to the Maratha Community; Loan Waiver Deadline Set for End of June

Pune: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified on Sunday that the state government has not made any cuts to the reservation and welfare schemes designated for the Maratha community. On the contrary, these schemes are being implemented with even greater vigor and determination.
Fadnavis stated, "As Chief Minister—together with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde—we have accomplished more work for the Maratha community than perhaps any other government in the history of Maharashtra." He affirmed that various welfare schemes, including the Maratha reservation, are proceeding smoothly.
Furthermore, Fadnavis addressed the prolonged wait faced by farmers. He clarified that the loan waiver for farmers would be granted by June 30, 2026.
This announcement was made in Pune and has elicited a positive response from both the Maratha community and the farming sector. It demonstrates that the government remains steadfast in its commitment to both the issue of Maratha reservation and the welfare of farmers.
