Why is Donald Trump so angry with India? The real story behind the scenes has been revealed!

Mumbai: US President Donald Trump has decided to impose an additional 25% tariff on India. Due to these reasons, relations between the two countries are currently strained. It is believed that Trump has taken a tough decision regarding tariffs because he is angry with India. Former Indian Ambassador to Canada Vikas Swarup has revealed the real reason for Trump's displeasure.
Vikas Swarup said that Donald Trump is angry with India for ignoring its so-called role in the peace agreement with Pakistan after the military conflict in May. He claimed that the current US relationship with Pakistan is a short-term arrangement largely motivated by economic interests. At the same time, he clarified that the India-US relationship will remain strategic.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Swarup praised New Delhi's decision not to bow to pressure from the Trump administration in trade talks and said that US President Donald Trump's tariffs will ultimately increase inflation in the US.
He said during the interview that we need to understand why these tariffs have been imposed. One reason is that Trump is not happy with India. He is not happy because India is a member of BRICS. He feels that BRICS is a group of anti-American countries. This group can challenge the US dollar in the future. Trump wants India not to be a member of BRICS.
According to Swarup, the second reason for this is that India refuses to give credit to Trump for brokering a peace deal with Pakistan after Operation Sindoor in May. India has made it clear from the beginning that the US played no role in the ceasefire talks. Because India does not accept the intervention of a third country. The ceasefire was directly brokered between the armed forces of both countries at the request of Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations.
He further said that Trump has said about 30 times so far that it was he who brought both countries back from the brink, who stopped the nuclear explosion in the subcontinent. Therefore, he is upset that India has not accepted his position, while Pakistan has not only accepted his position, but has also nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
