BJP's 'VIP' worker in trouble for pretending to be the Chief Minister's secretary

Mumbai: A complaint has been filed with the police against Devang Dave, a BJP worker from Kandivali. A social activist from Kandivali has filed this complaint and said that Dave drives around with the MLA's logo on his car even though he is not a member of either house of the legislature. An activist named Santosh Gholap has filed a complaint in this regard with the Chief Minister's Office, Mumbai Police Commissioner and Maharashtra Director General of Police Office.
Gholap said that the police have taken cognizance of his complaint and have started action. Gholap says that the Additional Commissioner of Police of North Division has been ordered to investigate the matter and submit a report to the Commissioner's Office after the investigation. (Devang Dave Police Investigation) Dave has been in controversy many times in the past and hawkers from Thakur Complex had earlier filed complaints with the police against him. These hawkers had alleged that Dave was demanding a ransom of Rs 5,000 per month from each hawker.
Gholap, who filed a complaint against Dave, has said that Dave commits illegal acts by pretending to have good relations with political leaders. Dave is a BJP worker and his behavior is tarnishing the image of the national party BJP. Gholap has said that Dave travels in a car MH46-AT-9700 and a sticker for MLAs has been put on this car. Gholap has asked how Dave can put an MLA sticker on his car even though he is not a member of the Legislative Assembly or Legislative Council. (Devang Dave Police Investigation) A few days ago, a program was organized to discuss the rehabilitation of slum dwellers in Sanjay Gandhi National Park. In this program, a verbal clash broke out between Devang Dave and Prakash Darekar, brother of MLA Praveen Darekar.
