
Complete land acquisition of projects in the state as per the schedule- * Devendra Fadnavis* -
Mumbai, Date 19 – Land acquisition of all important projects in the state should be completed as per the schedule and the projects should be put on track as soon as possible. Also, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today instructed all the relevant agencies to ensure that no project is delayed due to lack of land acquisition. Chief Minister Fadnavis reviewed the land acquisition of important projects in the state at his Varsha residence. At that time, Chief Minister Fadnavis gave these instructions. On this occasion, a detailed review was taken of the land acquisition of road projects in the state, including Nagpur - Goa Shaktipeeth Highway, Virar - Alibaug Corridor, Jalna - Nanded Expressway, Pune Ring Road East, West and Extension, Bhandara - Gadchiroli Expressway, Nagpur - Chandrapur Expressway, Nagpur - Gondia Expressway, Navegaon (Mor) - Surjagad Mineral Corridor, Vadhan - Igatpuri Expressway, as well as the land acquisition of Wardha - Nanded, Wardha - Gadchiroli railway projects and airports at Kolhapur, Karad, Akola, Gadchiroli and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Stating that the delay in projects leads to a huge increase in their cost, Chief Minister Fadnavis said that a timeline has been given to all agencies for the land acquisition process. It should be strictly followed. All agencies and concerned officials should work on mission mode. Land acquisition work should be taken seriously and started immediately. Chief Minister Fadnavis also gave instructions that everyone should do qualitative and constructive work in this regard.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the Shaktipeeth Highway plan should be run at full speed and its plan should be prepared. So that minimum forest land will be affected. The Finance Department should provide a fund of Rs 12 thousand crores for land acquisition of this road. Since there is forest land and mangrove forest in the Morbe to Karanja section of the Virar Alibaug Corridor, the process of obtaining the necessary permits should be started immediately. Also, while obtaining the permits for this project, the administrative process should be continued in parallel. Thus, the work can be accelerated. A proposal should be submitted to include the Vadhan-Igatpuri Expressway in the Sagarmala scheme. The land acquisition process of the Jalna-Nanded Expressway at Selu in Parbhani district should be completed within 15 days. The plans of all the expressways in Vidarbha, including Bhandara-Gadchiroli, Nagpur-Chandrapur, Nagpur-Gondiya, should be finalized and run at full speed. The land acquisition process for Wardha-Gadchiroli and Wardha-Nanded railway lines should be completed within 15 days and the work should be started. Chief Minister Fadnavis also gave such instructions.
The OLS of Gadchiroli airport should be done and its proposal should be sent by the Gadchiroli District Collector. The length of the runway of the airport in Akola should be increased to 2400 meters. A beautiful and modern as well as large airport should be built in Akola, these instructions were given by Chief Minister Fadnavis while reviewing the airport projects in the state. Chief Minister Fadnavis also gave instructions that a fund of Rs 53 thousand 354 crores required for land acquisition of 11 ambitious projects in the state should be provided.
