Beautification work of Metro started for G-20 summit

Nagpur, the 17th. : Preparations are underway for the historical and cultural scene of Maharashtra and Vidarbha to be shown below the three metro stations between Airport and Chhatrapati Chowk on Wardha Road. These scenes will soon be installed between the metro stations to show the visitors from home and abroad coming to Nagpur city for the G-20 conference to see this rich heritage.


        Scenes will be set up around the Nagpur Metro between the pillars of Chhatrapati Chowk, Ujwal Nagar and Jaiprakash Nagar stations of the Metro as the guests coming for the G-20 Conference enter the city from the airport. For this, the work of making scenery is going on in Crazy Castle, a foundry near Dharampeth Metro Station. A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj along with the image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj between the pillars of the Chhatrapati Chowk Metro Station Margike is being created at the foundry.


     Between the pillars of Ujwalnagar Metro Station, scenes depicting the Adivasis of Vidarbha and their glorious traditions will be staged. The work of making this scene is also going on here. Mowgli, the animal of the Pench Sanctuary and Tiger Reserve, will be portrayed as a character and bio-resource from the famous television series, Jayaprakashnagar Metro Station Peeler. Animal scenes are being prepared here.
