
Those who take reservation after conversion will not be happy, says Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in response to a striking suggestion in the Legislative Assembly that action will be taken against those who convert and take advantage of reservation in violation of the Supreme Court verdict.
Member Gopichand Padalkar had raised a striking suggestion regarding the issue of forced conversion. The Chief Minister was speaking at that time. MLA Jitendra Awhad also participated in the discussion.
Stating that conversion by force or by luring is a crime, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that a stricter law will be made against forced conversion. The report of the committee headed by the Director General of Police of the state has been submitted to the government. Further action will be taken as per this report.
