Under the empowerment and self-respect scheme, interested farmers are urged to submit proposals for the sale of their farms.

 Nagpur, Dec. 11: Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad empowerment and self-respect scheme is being implemented to provide agricultural land to landless families belonging to Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities below the poverty line. In order to provide agricultural land to the beneficiaries under this scheme, interested farmers who have farms in Nagpur district should submit a proposal in the prescribed format to the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, to sell their farms, said Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare Department Sukeshini Telgote.
Terms and conditions of land sale
The applicant should submit an application in the prescribed format to the Social Welfare Office. For arable land, this amount will be subject to a maximum of Rs. 5 lakh per acre and for irrigated land, this amount will be subject to a maximum of Rs. 8 lakh per acre.
