Big Update from Kolhapur in Vishalgarh Riot Case, 24 Arrested People Denied Bail
Kolhapur (Nayan Yadwad): The Shahuwadi police arrested 24 people after the July 14 riots in Vishalgad and its foothill Gajapur village in Kolhapur district. After almost 3 weeks, the hearing was held today in the District Sessions Court and 17 out of 24 persons have been granted conditional bail. The court has rejected the bail of 7 people seen in the photo during the vandalism.
Meanwhile, during today's hearing, the police had made a big security to prevent any law and order problems from arising, while the families of the activists of Hindutva organizations had entered the court premises.
According to former MP Sambhaji Raje gave the slogan of Chalo Vishalgad on July 14 to clear the encroachment on Vishalgad, thousands of Shiv devotees and protesters came to Vishalgad, but this time the movement suddenly took a violent turn.
