Court sends Kejriwal to 14 days judicial custody

-CBI alleges Kejriwal is not cooperating in the investigation

New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to 14 days judicial custody. On completion of Kejriwal's three-day remand, CBI produced him in Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday. CBI had arrested him on Wednesday in the Delhi liquor policy case. The investigating agency had sought five days remand to confront him with evidence, but got three days remand. The court has directed Kejriwal to be produced in court on July 12.

What arguments were made in the court today?

In the court, lawyer Vikram Chaudhary read the application filed on behalf of Kejriwal, in which a direction was sought to the CBI to put on record all the material submitted including the case diary.

The court said you can leave these aspects for the court to consider.

Chaudhary said in the bail plea of ??my co-accused in the Supreme Court, he said that he would complete the investigation by July 3.
