Heavy rains forecast in the state; Orange alert for these 5 districts for the next 24 hours

Weather Report: According to the forecast given by the India Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been given for Ratnagiri, Pune Ghat, Satara Ghat, Kolhapur Ghat, Sindhudurg districts for the next 24 hours. In the last 24 hours (till the morning of June 17, 2025), Mumbai Suburban district has received 83.4 mm of rainfall. While Thane district has recorded 73.7 mm, Mumbai city 62.9 mm, Raigad 54.1 mm and Palghar district 49.7 mm of rainfall.
