Maharashtra Cyber report submitted in case of power outage in Mumbai
Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said in a press conference that the American company Recorded Future Network Analysis released a report on February 28. In the report, he said that it was possible that China had planted malware (virus) in Mumbai's electrical infrastructure. A similar story appeared in the New York Times on March 1, as well as in the Wall Street Journal.
Deshmukh said that in the case of power outage in Mumbai, Energy Minister Dr Nitin Raut had requested for further investigation into the matter. Accordingly, the Maharashtra Cyber ??Department was directed to investigate the matter.
