We have lost a studious journalist with the passing of Pachpor – Devendra Fadnavis

Nagpur, June 18 – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his condolences, stating that with the demise of senior journalist Virag Pachpor, we have lost a studious journalist and a dedicated *Swayamsevak* (volunteer).
He noted that Pachpor had served as a *Pracharak* (full-time worker) for the Sangh in Assam for a long period, where he also began his career in journalism. Later, while working for dailies like *Tarun Bharat* and *Hitavada* in Nagpur, he consistently voiced the concerns of the common people. His work as the head of the *Rashtriya Muslim Manch* was remarkable. He possessed deep knowledge of both Islam and Christianity and had even authored books on these subjects. It is shocking that such a dedicated, sensitive, and studious personality has suddenly passed away.
Pradip Maitra, President of the Press Club
?? "With the passing of senior journalist Virag Pachpor, we have lost a dedicated, sensitive individual and an alert journalist. His sudden demise is shocking." These were the words used by Nagpur Press Club President Pradip Maitra to express his condolences.
Maitra said that Pachpor was an excellent colleague who always adopted a positive stance regarding the Press Club and the housing society. He worked in journalism for *Tarun Bharat* and *Hitavada*, leaving his mark on both English and Marathi journalism. He shared close family ties with many senior figures in the Sangh but never sought to capitalize on those connections. It is hard to believe that this vibrant, engaging personality is no longer among us.
