23Political tension in Thane Municipal Corporation: Shinde Sena preparing to exclude BJP from committees?
Thane: The political dispute in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has now spread to Thane Municipal Corporation. The relationship between Shinde Sena and BJP has become strained, and Shinde Sena is preparing to raise the issue of Navi Mumbai's Vachpa in Thane. If the BJP continues to play the role of 'watchman', Shinde Sena may decide not to give them a part in these committees.
In the general meeting, the BJP sought answers on administrative issues, but they were rejected. Shinde Sena indirectly criticized and suggested that 'BJP should come out with partners'. This is likely to change from an alliance to an opposition party in Thane, which will have a similar outcome to the Navi Mumbai dispute.
This dispute is affecting the relations of both the parties and a major change may be seen in the next committee elections.
