There are serious allegations of sexual harassment, fraud and other serious allegations against the women of Kharat. These old documents were immediately given to the police, so that the accused would not escape.
"As soon as I took the press conference to Madhya Pradesh, the accused had fled the country. So I gave the evidence to the Ahmednagar District Superintendent of Police. After that, the matter was taken to the higher level and following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Nashik Police took immediate action and arrested Ashok Kharat," said Desai.
On the allegations regarding the settlement, she said, "These allegations are completely ridiculous and misguided. There has been no financial loss. On the contrary, I continue to strive to get justice for the victimized women."
