Bulldozer action in the slum near the RSS headquarters in New Delhi; On the citizens' road

Administration's crackdown in Jhandewalan; The entire area including the langar hall-garden is on the list
New Delhi – The administration took a major demolition action in the area near the Jhandewala Devi temple in the capital Delhi this morning. The langar hall, the beautified garden and more than 100 kachcha-pucca shelters in the ancient dargah-temple area of ??Baba Peer Ratan Nath were demolished with the help of bulldozers.
This area is right next to the national headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Keshav Kunj. Therefore, after the action, a wave of anger has erupted among the local citizens. Many have accused this action of 'political vendetta' and 'targeting a specific community'.
A large contingent of police was deployed during the action. Women and children came out on the streets and raised slogans against the administration. There are reports of scuffles in some places.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has said that the site is being cleared of encroachments. However, local residents say that most of the families have been living here for decades and have the necessary documents.
There is currently a tense atmosphere in the area, and a large number of people are expected to take to the streets in the next few hours.
