Controversial Speech in Gwalior: Yati Narsinghanand Criticizes Gandhi, Calls Godse a Protector of Sanatan Dharma

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) – Yati Narsinghanand Giri made highly controversial statements on Sunday during an event held at the Hindu Mahasabha office in Gwalior. He described Mahatma Gandhi as "poison" for society, while lauding Nathuram Godse—the accused in Mahatma Gandhi's assassination—as a "priceless martyr" and a "protector of Sanatan Dharma."
Yati Narsinghanand stated, "Anyone who does not follow the ideology of Veer Savarkar will soon perish within Sanatan Dharma." He referred to Nathuram Godse as a "great martyr of independent India" and demanded that a temple be built in his honor.
He further added, "Hindu Mahasabha activists have been prevented from constructing a temple for Godse." Strongly criticizing the BJP, he asserted, "The BJP has betrayed Savarkar and Godse by distancing itself from their ideology."
During the event, Yati Narsinghanand also claimed that even followers of Sanatan Dharma have failed to accord Nathuram Godse the respect he deserves.
