Atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh: Hindus must stand united - RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's major statement

New Delhi/Kolkata, December 21, 2025: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed serious concern over the atrocities being committed against the Hindu minority in Bangladesh. Speaking at an event in Kolkata, he said, "Hindus are a minority in Bangladesh, and the situation there is extremely difficult. In such circumstances, it is essential for Hindus to stand united for their own safety."
Bhagwat highlighted the gravity of the situation by mentioning the incident of a Hindu youth being burned alive on the street. He said, "India is the only country for Hindus. Therefore, it is necessary for the Indian government to take notice of this issue. Hindus around the world should provide as much help as possible to the Hindus in Bangladesh. They should provide whatever assistance they can while remaining within their own borders."
The RSS chief clarified that the Sangh is not anti-Muslim, but focuses on organizing the Hindu community. He stated that India is a Hindu nation and emphasized social transformation over political change. He dismissed the efforts to rebuild the Babri Masjid as a political conspiracy.
