Narrating the story of the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme, Shinde gave a guarantee of development; Mira Bhayandar is set to get a 'makeover'!
In a major announcement at the Shiv Sena Shinde group's 'Nirdhar Melava' (determination rally) in Mira Bhayandar, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that the problems of old and dangerous buildings, including hundreds of buildings that have not received an OC (Occupation Certificate), will be resolved soon, similar to the plan implemented in Mumbai. "No one will be deprived of their rightful home," Shinde said.
Shinde also narrated the interesting story of the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme. He said that this scheme was born when a farmer's son became the Chief Minister and understood his mother's monthly expenses, and it has proven to be a game-changer for women. He stated that during the two and a half years, many development works were carried out, including the Metro, Sea Link, removal of tolls, and schemes for women and farmers.
Pratap Sarnaik also provided information about the development works in the city – the Metro will run soon, flyovers, concrete roads, Surya Yojana water project, Balasaheb Thackeray Art Gallery, 400-bed hospital, etc. A guarantee was given that the Mahayuti alliance will contest the municipal elections together and the city will be developed.
